The Ghostbusters franchise continues an exciting phase of expanding the universe. Next up are video games, with the Collector’s Edition for the new multiplayer video game Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed launching on October 18 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. This extra spooky edition is packaged inside a replica case of Tobin’s Spirit Guide and includes an exclusive poster, stickers, and a display stand. Players will also get Advance Access to the Basher Ghost, a rare Ectoplast Skin, Ghostbusters RTV Kit Ghost Trap, and a special PKE Meter – all authentic items recognizable from the movies.
This Ghostbusters video game also features appearances in the form of original cast members Ernie Hudson and Dan Akroyd who lend their voices to their own characters, something that surely will be appreciated by long-time fans of the franchise. Additionally, players will encounter characters, various gadgets, and locations from the movies adding a layer of authenticity to make this a great experience for players. For the first time in a long time, fans all over the world will get the chance to jump into the world of Ghostbusters.
The Collector’s Edition will be available from October 18 at retailers worldwide.
